Arkansas, New York Cows Top National Milking Shorthorn Show

Brittany Crawley from Gravette, Ark., won Grand Champion Milking Shorthorn with Valley View Oakleigh 2390-EX at the 2018 Premier National Junior Milking Shorthorn Show held during the 2018 All-American Dairy Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and Complex Center in Harrisburg.

The pair received Senior 2 Year Old and Intermediate Grand Champion honors before securing the Grand Champion Milking Shorthorn title.

Madisyn Wright from Dekalb Junction, N.Y., won the 4-Year-Old class and Senior Champion with Wildholm Sunflower Golodex before securing the Reserve Grand Champion Milking Shorthorn title.

Sorting the Milking Shorthorns was Jack Lomeo Jr. of Sylvan Beach, N.Y., a dairyman with cows under the prefix Purple Fever, who has owned multiple All-Canadian and All-American animals across multiple breeds, including Black and White Holstein, Red and White Holsteins, Jerseys and Milking Shorthorns.
