Companies Receive Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Certification
New York Ag Connection - 11/13/2017

The Office of General Services Commissioner announced that the following three businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services' (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans' Business Development (DSDVBD):

- Puma Investigation & Security, located in Staten Island, NY, specializes in security and investigation services.

- Tod Delaney P.E. P.C. , located in Mountainville, NY, is an environmental engineering and consulting firm.

- Jadar Development Corp., located in Pleasant Valley, NY, is a general construction contractor.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of October 20, 2017, a total of 390 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
