EA Filed on NYS White-Tailed Deer Damage Management

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS) program has issued a Decision and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for an Environmental Assessment (EA): White-tailed Deer Damage Management in New York that evaluated potential impacts to the quality of the human environment from the implementation of a deer damage management program.

A Decision and FONSI was issued on April 14 selecting to implement the proposed action alternative. Based on the analyses contained in the EA and the associated Decision/FONSI, it was concluded that continued implementation of the proposed action alternative would not have a significant impact upon the quality of the human environment.
