Temperatures ranged from 2 degrees below to 7 degrees above normal. Weekly precipitation ranged from 0.00 to 1.85 inches.
Field work made much progress throughout much of the state as operators attempted to catch up as a result of the late spring. Tilling and planting occurred with producers looking forward to continued better weather conditions.
Fruit trees progressed into pink stage and full bloom.
Long Island vineyards saw bud break with shoots growing fast and crews getting ready to disbud and thin shoots.
