Apple growers in New York are keeping an eye on this mild, rollercoaster winter and the impact it could have on the region’s crop.

NCPR caught Jason Londo, a crop physiologist at Cornell University, to find out how apple trees and growers are fairing.

Londo says mild winters make it harder for trees to withstand the erratic changes in temperature we’ve been having.
