Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) is hosting a series of guided dairy farm tours across New York State this fall, offering dairy farmers and industry partners a unique opportunity to explore modern dairy systems and technologies.
These tours, led by CCE Dairy Specialists, PRO-DAIRY staff, and other industry experts, provide hands-on insights into innovative practices and operations that can enhance herd management and overall farm efficiency.
The tours run from October 29 through November 7, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., covering farms in South Central, Central, and Southwest New York. Each participating farm has a set tour schedule, and agendas may vary depending on the date and location.
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation. While registration is free, it is required to secure a spot on these in-demand tours.
South Central New York tours include Spruce Haven Dairy and DuMond Ag, LLC on October 29, and Riverside Dairy and Fouts Farm on November 5. Central New York locations include Creek Acres Farm and Glenvue Dairy Farm on November 6, followed by Indian Camp Farm & Dairy on November 7. Southwest New York participants can visit Eden Valley Creamery and Miller’s Dairy on November 4.
For more details or to register, contact Kathy Barrett via email at kfb3@cornell.edu. These tours offer a valuable opportunity to learn from leading experts, see advanced farm operations in action, and gain practical knowledge to improve dairy production and management on your own farm.
