New York State Fair Adds Third Eye Blind to Lineup

Third Eye Blind will close out the 2026 Great New York State Fair concert announcements with a performance at Suburban Park on Saturday, August 29, at 8 p.m.

The alternative rock band joins an already impressive lineup in this year’s Chevrolet Music Series, giving fairgoers another major attraction to look forward to.

Formed in San Francisco in 1993, Third Eye Blind has remained one of the most recognizable names in alternative rock. The band has released 10 studio albums, two live albums, and a career retrospective while selling more than 12 million records worldwide.

Their biggest songs, including “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper,” “How’s It Going to Be,” and “Never Let You Go,” continue to attract longtime fans and new listeners alike. More than 30 years after their debut, the group continues to deliver energetic live performances that celebrate their lasting influence on the genre.

The band recently performed at the New York State-sponsored free World Cup Watch Experience at Stony Brook University and is now preparing to entertain audiences from across New York and beyond during the State Fair.

“We wanted this final concert announcement to leave fans on a high note,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “This year’s Chevrolet Music Series has delivered an incredible mix of legendary artists, fan favorites, and exciting new talent, and Third Eye Blind is the perfect way to cap off our concert announcements. Their music has stood the test of time, and we know fairgoers will be singing along from the first note to the last.”

The 2026 Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, August 26, through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. Admission includes access to every concert in the Chevrolet Music Series.

This year’s lineup features 41 national recording acts, with daily performances at Chevy Court at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., while Suburban Park hosts 8 p.m. headline concerts each evening.

Two special 9 p.m. performances are also scheduled at Chevy Court on August 28 and September 4. Concert schedules will continue to be updated on the Fair’s official website.
