NY state fair - double classic rock tribute

NY state fair - double classic rock tribute

By Blake Jackson

Calling all fans of Journey and Heart! Get ready for a double dose of classic rock hits at the Great New York State Fair. Tribute band Journey from The Heart will perform back-to-back sets on Labor Day, September 2nd, at Chevy Court.

The excitement kicks off at noon, with a chance to relive iconic songs like "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Separate Ways" by Journey. Then, at 4:00 pm, Journey from the Heart will pay homage to Heart's legendary anthems, including "Barracuda" and "Crazy on You."

"This is one of summer's biggest sing-alongs, and we're thrilled to host it," said Interim Fair Director Julie LaFave. "Music brings people together, and we can't wait to celebrate at Chevy Court!"

Journey From the Heart features two powerhouse vocalists – Ryan Christopher, praised for his resemblance to Steve Perry of Journey, and Shareen Ann, who channels the energy of Heart's Ann Wilson.

The New York State Fair runs from August 21st to September 2nd. Admission to the Fair includes all concerts, making it one of the most affordable state fairs in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults, with free entry for children under 12 and seniors over 65.

The Fair's Chevrolet Music Series boasts 39 national acts. Daily concerts are scheduled at Chevy Court (near Gate 1) at 1 pm and 6 pm, with an additional 8 pm show at Suburban Park (on the Fairground's west side).

Check The Fair's website for the latest concert schedules and venue details. Don't miss this chance to rock out with Journey from the Heart at the Great New York State Fair!
