NYHFPS celebrates awards and new events

By Blake Jackson

The New York Hot Farm Pulling Series (NYHFPS) recently hosted its annual banquet and award ceremony at the Vernon Downs Event Center. The event was a vibrant celebration with food, dancing, and fun, attended by over 80 club members along with their families and significant others.

The NYHFPS is a tractor pulling club designed for local farm enthusiasts, offering them a chance to compete in local events, fundraisers, firemen’s field days, and county fairs. For 2025, the club is introducing new truck pulling classes, including the Enhanced Gas and Wild Street Diesel Classes. Detailed information about these new classes and event dates can be obtained by contacting club President Ken Roberts at 315-725-4702.

Members of the NYHFPS have traveled across central and northern New York, as well as northern Vermont, participating in various pulling events. Over the years, they have developed a close-knit, family-like bond.
