Rising country-pop artist Stella Lefty will perform for the first time at the Great New York State Fair on Sunday, September 6, at 6 p.m. on the Chevy Court stage. Known as the “Songstress of Summer,” the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has quickly gained recognition for combining heartfelt country storytelling with modern pop influences.
Lefty first attracted widespread attention with her breakout single “Thinking ‘bout You,” followed by the massive success of “Boston,” which has accumulated more than 214 million global streams and reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Lefty has now surpassed 429 million global artist streams and continues to build a growing fan base through her energetic live performances and emotionally driven songs.
Her latest EP, Is This Heaven?, debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, making her the first female artist to achieve a debut top-10 release on the chart this year.
Music publications, including Rolling Stone and UPROXX, have praised Lefty as one of country music’s most promising emerging artists.
Lefty has also toured with performers such as Alessi Rose, Jessie Murph, Cameron Whitcomb, and Wyatt Flores, with additional performances scheduled alongside Tucker Wetmore this summer.
“One of the best things about The Fair’s concerts is the ability to showcase rising talent,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave.
“Welcoming Stella Lefty to Chevy Court is a huge win for us, and we look forward to giving her fans and new listeners alike the chance to enjoy her catchy sound.”
The 2026 Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, Aug. 26, through Labor Day, Sept. 7. All concerts are included with Fair admission. Adult tickets cost $8, while children under 12 and adults aged 65 and older receive free admission.
This year's Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts performing daily at Chevy Court and Suburban Park throughout the Fair.
