Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund accepting yearling nominations

Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund accepting yearling nominations

The Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund is now accepting yearling nominations for No. 64 foals of 2022 to compete in the 2024 and 2025 New York Sire Stakes racing programs.

Nominations may only be accepted for foals registered with the Fund and those that meet the state requirements for New York harness racing.

Accepted nominations will qualify 2-year-old foals in 2024 and 3-year-old foals in 2025, for all three levels of New York harness racing programs: New York Sire Stakes, Excelsior Series and County Fair. Future payments are required to secure a spot in that year’s races.
