Fans of classic soft rock will have a chance to relive decades of hits when Air Supply returns to perform at The Great New York State Fair on Sunday, August 30, at 6 p.m. The concert will take place on the Chevy Court stage as part of the fair’s 2026 Chevrolet Music Series lineup.
Originally formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1975, Air Supply became one of the most recognizable soft rock groups in the world through emotional ballads and chart-topping songs that have remained popular for generations.
Over the years, the duo has earned a loyal international following with hit singles including “The One That You Love,” “Making Love Out of Nothing at All,” “Every Woman in the World,” and “Here I Am.”
The group has sold more than 100 million records globally during a career that now stretches beyond five decades. Even after more than 50 years in the music business, Air Supply continues to attract audiences worldwide with sold-out performances and international tours.
The duo is currently enjoying a busy 2026 schedule that includes concerts throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
In addition to touring, the band is preparing for several major milestones, including a biographical film currently in development, a future star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the release of its first studio album in 15 years, titled A Matter of Time.
“We’re pleased to welcome Air Supply back to The Fair,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “Their iconic songs have connected with generations of fans, and we can’t wait to experience their legendary music live. It’s going to be a special night for fairgoers!”
The Great New York State Fair opens on August 26 and continues through Labor Day on September 7. Admission includes access to all concerts. Adult tickets cost $8, while children under 12 and adults age 65 and older can attend free of charge.
The 2026 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national acts. Performances will take place daily at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Chevy Court, plus an 8 p.m. show each night at Suburban Park.
