Commissioner ball honors taste NY's 10 years

Nearly one dozen local farms and food businesses will join NYS Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball to celebrate the State's Taste NY program's 10th anniversary. The event will take place at the Western New York Welcome Center on Wednesday, November 29, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The Welcome Center is also offering 10 percent off all purchases on November 29 and the chance to win a basket filled with local goodies in celebration of the 10-year milestone.

Taste NY is New York's flagship 'eat local, drink local' program, which promotes New York's farms and food and beverage businesses.

The following farms and food businesses will be participating in the event:

  • Bittner Singer Orchards
  • Chenez's Popcorn
  • Eden Valley Creamery
  • Ganci's BBQ Sauce
  • The Greek Goddess
  • Herb'N Garden Farms
  • Merle Maple Farm
  • TopSeedz
  • Singer Farm Naturals


It will be held at 1999 Alvin Road, Exit 19 off I-190, Grand Island, NY 14072
