Dairy One Announces New Partnership with Feedlync

Dairy One announced a new partnership with Feedlync Feeding Management software. Relatively new to the United States, Feedlync by Cow Connect has been in use on farms mainly in Europe and the United Kingdom. With minimal set-up time, Feedlync is an easy-to-use, cloud-based tool that can make a positive difference in any dairy.

“Feedlync is the kind of feeding management tool that Dairy One has been looking to bring to our customers for a long time,” said John Gloss, Director of Agricultural Management. “One thing that makes this system unique is that set-up can take under an hour from start to finish, so farms can begin using it right away.”

Feedlync only requires a minimum amount of technology. There is a gateway box that’s placed on a mixer setup, and then a tablet in the cab where employees record feed information. Farmers can make adjustments in real-time to rations using the Feedlync app. The system also has extensive reporting features that can help farmers track feed and flag when ingredients aren’t being added.

“We’re very excited about the opportunities that Feedlync and its components, Silolync and Scalelync, bring to farms,” said Gloss. “Even when a dairy farmer isn’t physically at the farm, they can still check in on the operation and make changes to feed protocols.”
