The New York State Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech is hosting its monthly seminar series, "CoE Coffee, Coaching & Connections," on September 7, 2023.
This event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Food Research Laboratory located at 665 W. North St., Geneva, N.Y., 14456. The seminar will also be available virtually, offering flexibility for attendees.
The series highlights key figures from both industry and academia who will discuss crucial topics relevant to food, beverage, and agriculture entrepreneurs.
As technology increasingly shapes the future of food production, this seminar will explore innovative technologies being developed at Cornell University.
Attendees will gain insights into current advancements, industry practices, and available resources that can support business growth in this dynamic field.
The featured speakers include Yu Jiang, Assistant Professor in the School of Integrative Plant Science's Horticulture Section at Cornell AgriTech; Tess O'Mara, Director of Partnerships at Vivid Machines Inc.; and Jenn Smith, Grow-NY Program Director at the Center for Regional Economic Advancement.
Their presentations will offer valuable perspectives and practical advice for those looking to enhance their ventures in the agrifood sector.
