The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets (NYSDAM) is alerting consumers to the presence of undeclared milk and sesame allergens in bread and rolls produced by Yucca Tree Corp, operating as Rosemarie Bakery, located on Staten Island, New York.
This poses a serious health risk for individuals with a severe allergy to milk or sesame. It is important to note that no illnesses have been reported to the NYSDAM in connection with this product at this time.
The Rosemarie Bakery breads and rolls are packaged in various sized plastic bags or paper sleeves and lack any batch coding. The products may have been distributed within New York and New Jersey.
An investigation by NYSDAM food inspectors identified labeling violations and potential sesame allergen cross-contamination.
NYSDAM urges consumers with a milk or sesame allergy who may have purchased Rosemarie Bakery breads or rolls to refrain from consuming these products. For any inquiries related to the products, please contact Yucca Tree Corp at (917) 658-2104.
