Rock band Hinder will bring its signature sound to Chevy Court at The Great New York State Fair on Monday, August 31, at 6 p.m., giving fans the chance to experience one of modern rock’s most recognizable acts live.

Known for its chart-topping hit “Lips of an Angel,” Hinder has built a successful career spanning more than 20 years. The band first gained widespread attention with its triple-platinum debut album, Extreme Behavior, followed by the successful release of Take It to the Limit.

Over the years, Hinder has remained a strong presence on rock radio while continuing to perform for audiences across the country.

Most recently, the group released Back to Life, offering fresh music alongside the classic songs that have generated hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.

“We can’t wait to welcome Hinder to The Fair,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “The group is a fantastic addition to this year’s jam-packed entertainment lineup, giving modern rock fans an unforgettable night of live music. With both chart-topping hits and new favorites, this is a show that longtime fans and first-time listeners alike won’t want to miss.”

The 2026 Great New York State Fair opens on Wednesday, August 26, and continues through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. Admission includes access to every concert, with adult tickets priced at $8, while children under 12 and adults 65 and older receive free admission.

This year’s Chevrolet Music Series will showcase 41 national recording artists. Daily performances are scheduled at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the Chevy Court stage near Gate 1, while Suburban Park, located on the western side of the fairgrounds beyond the Midway, will host nightly 8 p.m. concerts.

Two additional 9 p.m. performances are also planned at Chevy Court on August 28 and September 4. Concert schedules will continue to be updated on the Fair’s website.
