With over 2.3 million visitors welcomed at Taste NY Welcome Centers and Markets, and a whopping $5 million in product sales, it's clear New Yorkers love supporting local agriculture.
Highlights of a Decade of Delicious:
- Record Reach: Over 11 Welcome Centers and Market locations served as gateways to local delights, with the Adirondacks and Central New York centers reaching impressive visitor milestones.
- Celebration with a Taste: Commissioner Ball's 9 open house events across the state, spanning nearly 3,000 miles, showcased the program's diversity and connected producers with new customers.
- Sales Sizzle: The Long Island and Capital Region Welcome Centers each topped $1 million in sales, and the Western New York center reached the same mark since its 2018 launch.
- Beyond Welcome Centers: Taste NY brought its magic to major events like the PGA Tour's Tasting Yard and The Great New York State Fair, highlighting New York's craft beverages and agritourism.
- Social Savvy: Holiday-themed social media contests engaged travelers and promoted local food and beverages, while #FindMeAtTheFair tapped into county fair fun.
