Farmers and agricultural enthusiasts are invited to attend the Fall Round-Up Workshop on October 8, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Caseyland Farm, 142 Casey Road, Schaghticoke, New York. This free, hands-on program will cover key topics such as hay sampling and interpreting hay analysis, along with effective weed management strategies.
The event is designed to provide valuable insights for producers looking to improve forage quality and better manage their fields. By learning how to properly evaluate hay and implement sound weed control practices, participants can enhance both productivity and efficiency on their farms.
In addition to the educational sessions, attendees will enjoy pizza and refreshments, creating a relaxed environment for networking with peers and agricultural educators.
Although there is no cost to attend, registration is required at CCE Cornell Registration Link. For more details, contact Rachel Moody at 518-649-0267 (ram72@cornell.edu) or Danielle Doering at 518-764-2331 (dnd39@cornell.edu).
