The New York State Council on Hunger and Food Policy will hold a meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Council provides guidance to state policymakers on strategies to improve food security and increase access to healthy, locally grown foods for residents across New York State.
The meeting is open to the public, and registration is required. Interested participants can register online at meetny-gov.webex.com/weblink/register/r88a886b1f4e722e434bc8d06072ec6f4. Attendees have the option to join in person at 10B Airline Drive, Albany, NY 12235, in the Orchard Conference Room, or virtually via WebEx, with the link sent via email after registration.
All meeting materials intended for discussion will be uploaded ahead of time to the Council’s page on the New York State Department of Agriculture website at agriculture.ny.gov/council-hunger-and-food-policy, ensuring participants have access to relevant information before October 1.
Following the meeting, a recording will be made publicly available on the Department’s website, providing a resource for those unable to attend.
