Snow Tha Product to rock New York state fair

By Blake Jackson

Get ready for a high-energy performance at the Great New York State Fair! Grammy-nominated rapper, singer, and actress Snow Tha Product is confirmed to headline a concert on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, at the Chevrolet Music Series' Chevy Court Stage. This exciting stop is part of her upcoming U.S. and Mexico festival tour.

"We're thrilled to welcome Snow Tha Product to the Fair," said State Fair Interim Director Julie LaFave. "Her innovative music and powerful voice have made her a leader in the new generation of female artists, and we can't wait to see her live."

Born Claudia Feliciano and hailing from San Jose, California, Snow Tha Product rose to international fame in 2013 with hits like "Play," "Hello," and "Doing Fine." Her career achievements are impressive: a top 10 ranking on Billboard's Heartseekers Albums chart with her debut EP in 2016, an MTV Video Music Award for "Immigrants" (part of the acclaimed "The Hamilton Mixtape") in 2017, and a solidified position as a rap leader by 2021.

Her collaboration with Bizarrap on "BZRP Music Sessions #39" cemented her status. The song reached the top 20 of Billboard's Latin Digital Song Sales chart, garnered over 230 million views online, and even landed a spot in NBA 2k22. It also received a Best Rap/Hip Hop Song nomination at the Latin Grammys. Most recently, in 2024, she scored a Premio Lo Nuestro nomination for Best New Female Artist.

The Fair kicks off on Wednesday, August 21st, and runs through Labor Day, September 2nd. Concerts are included with Fair admission, which goes on sale later this summer. Adult tickets are just $8, with free entry for children under 12 and seniors over 65.

This year's Chevrolet Music Series boasts a massive lineup of 39 national recording acts. Expect daily concerts at 1 pm and 6 pm at Chevy Court and an additional 8 pm show at Suburban Park throughout the Fair. Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate music and agriculture at the Great New York State Fair!
