New York State's Taste NY program is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of events across the state. On Tuesday, October 17, Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball will visit the Hudson Valley/Catskills Welcome Center to mark the occasion.
The event will highlight local farmers and food and beverage producers who have benefited from the Taste NY program. Since its launch, the program has had a more than $100 million economic impact on its participants.
The celebration will also coincide with the Welcome Center's five-year anniversary of opening its location at Woodbury Commons. Following the program, producers who sell their products at the Welcome Center will be sampling their delicious food and beverages.
The public is invited to attend the event and learn more about the Taste NY program and the many outstanding food and beverage producers in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region.
