Vote Now - Best New York Burger Competition 2025 Begins!

By Blake Jackson

The New York Beef Council (NYBC) has launched its 9th Annual Best NY Burger Competition, inviting burger enthusiasts statewide to vote for their favorite 100% beef burger.

Voting is open from March 19 to April 11, 2025, allowing the public to influence which restaurant earns the title of New York's best.

On April 14, 2025, the top 10 finalists will be revealed. Subsequently, a panel of anonymous judges will assess these finalists based on taste, presentation, and overall dining experience. The ultimate winner will be announced on May 12, 2025, at the State Capitol during the May Beef Month Proclamation.

“This competition wouldn’t be possible without the enthusiasm of burger fans and the support of our incredible partners at the Iowa Beef Council,” said Chrissy Claudio, Director of Consumer Engagement at NYBC. “We’ve seen an impressive lineup of nominations, and now it’s time for the public to help determine which burger reigns supreme.”

NYBC encourages burger fans to promote their favorite restaurants on social media and encourage others to vote. Every vote contributes to determining the competition’s winner.

For details on voting and contest updates, visit www.nybeef.org. Participants can also join the online conversation using the hashtag #BestNYBurger.

This competition provides a platform for New Yorkers to celebrate the state’s best beef burgers and support local restaurants.
