New York labor roadshow tackles farm labor challenges

The New York Agricultural Workforce Development Council (AWDC) is hosting its annual Labor Roadshow VII to address the labor challenges faced by farm businesses. The roadshow will feature experienced labor attorneys, experts on state and federal employment law compliance, and farm safety specialists.

  • Managing in a union environment
  • Complying with equal employment laws
  • Managing regulatory audits
  • The new NYS Marijuana Law and its impact on the workplace
  • Overtime reimbursements and payroll compliance
  • Farm safety and OSHA compliance
  • Workforce development strategies

  • NORTHERN NY: DECEMBER 13 | Old McDonald's Farm, Sackets Harbor
  • EASTERN NY: DECEMBER 15 | Greenwich Elks, Greenwich
  • CENTRAL NY: DECEMBER 19 | Cornell Agritech, Geneva (in-person or online via Zoom)
  • WESTERN NY: DECEMBER 20 | Genesee Community College, Batavia

Registration and Payment:
