The Great New York State Fair is thrilled to announce that Tom Nitti, a talented musician and decorated veteran from Utica, will be performing at the Chevy Court on August 29th at 1:00 PM. Nitti's remarkable journey from military service to a burgeoning music career makes him a truly inspiring figure.
A Purple Heart recipient, Nitti's life has been marked by both sacrifice and triumph. After serving his country honorably, he pursued a career in law enforcement, following in his father's footsteps. However, his deep-rooted passion for music never waned.
Nitti's musical talents gained national recognition when he competed on NBC's hit show, "The Voice," where he joined Team Reba. Since then, he has continued to captivate audiences with his soulful performances.
“Not only is Tom Nitti a successful, self-made country star, but he is also someone who actively gives back to communities throughout New York through his commitment to service,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We are very proud to welcome him to Chevy Court and look forward to seeing one of New York’s own perform at The Great New York State Fair this summer.”
Nitti's performance is part of the Fair's extensive Chevrolet Music Series, which features a diverse lineup of renowned artists. With the Fair kicking off on August 21st and running through Labor Day, attendees can enjoy a wide range of entertainment, including concerts, exhibits, and family-friendly activities.
