Farm Credit East and Crop Growers, Farm Credit East’s insurance provider, are offering a valuable resource for grape producers affected by the late April freeze in New York. They have organized a free informational webinar scheduled for Tuesday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

This webinar aims to address the significant challenges that grape producers are facing following the freeze event and to provide essential guidance on navigating the insurance claim process.

During the webinar, specialized Crop Growers crop insurance agents will delve into the impact of the April 25, 2024 freeze on grape crops. They will discuss in detail how these effects translate into insurance claims, offering insights and strategies to help producers manage their claims effectively.

Additionally, a crop insurance claims manager will provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide through the entire claim procedure, ensuring attendees understand the process thoroughly.

The session will be interactive, allowing grape producers to ask specific questions about their insurance claims and receive expert answers directly from the panel.

This direct engagement is designed to empower producers with the knowledge and resources needed to navigate this challenging period and maximize their recovery efforts.

The webinar is open to all grape producers impacted by the freeze and is completely free of charge. Interested producers can register for the webinar to secure their place and gain access to vital information that can assist in their recovery from this unforeseen natural disaster.

For more information and to register for the webinar, grape producers are encouraged to visit the registration page provided by Farm Credit East and Crop Growers.
