Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that is making a difference in the rural Southern Tier of New York. The farm's founders, Oliver Gawlik and Eryn Leavens, are passionate about providing nutritious food and beauty to their local community.
The farm's free farm stand is a lifeline for many residents, who can take whatever they need, without question. The farm has distributed over 2,300 pounds of produce, 400 plant starts, and 150 flower bouquets since opening the farm stand several months ago.
Happy Compromise is also a sanctuary and lifetime home for over 110 rescued animals. The farm also promotes sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle decisions to slow climate change.
Gawlik and Leavens envision a future where everyone has access to healthy food and where people can come together to learn about sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
