Cornell Cooperative Extension has offices in every county across the state, and they are a valuable resource for growers. They can help with a variety of tasks, from managing pests and diseases to developing marketing plans.
Melinda Vizcarra, co-owner of Becker Farms and Vizcarra Family Vineyards in Niagara County, is one of the growers who benefits from Cornell Cooperative Extension's services. She says that the organization's specialists are "a great resource" and that they have helped her to improve her apple crop.
