Empire Farm Days, a prominent agricultural trade show in New York, has announced the cancellation of its 2024 event.
This decision came abruptly, less than a month before the scheduled dates of August 1-3. In a statement posted on their Facebook page, organizers cited the need to postpone the event to allow time for a thorough rebranding effort aimed at enhancing the show for the summer of 2025.
Known for its Farmer Olympics, Skid Steer Rodeo, Pedal Tractor Pull, and extensive exhibitor lineup, Empire Farm Days has historically been one of the largest events of its kind on the East Coast.
Originally hosted at Rodman Lott & Sons Farm in Seneca Falls for over three decades, the show relocated to Palladino Farms in Onondaga County starting in 2022.
Attendees and participants alike will have to wait until next year to experience the revitalized and improved version of Empire Farm Days, as the organizers promise more details to follow regarding the event's rebranded direction.
This postponement marks a strategic move to ensure that the show returns with renewed vigor and relevance to the agricultural community in 2025.
