Robin Thicke is set to make his debut at The Great New York State Fair, performing on Sunday, September 6, at 8 p.m. as part of the 2026 Chevrolet Music Series.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter, producer, and entertainer will take the stage for the first time at the annual event, bringing his catalog of pop and R&B hits to fairgoers.
A five-time Grammy Award nominee and Diamond-selling artist, Thicke has enjoyed a successful career both as a solo performer and behind the scenes. By age 21, he had already written and produced music featured on more than 20 Gold and Platinum albums for artists such as Michael Jackson, Marc Anthony, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Usher, and Jennifer Hudson.
Thicke debut album, A Beautiful World, was released in 2003, followed by several Gold- and Platinum-certified projects. His 2013 album Blurred Lines earned four Grammy nominations and included the RIAA Diamond-certified No. 1 hit “Blurred Lines,” featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams.
In 2021, Thicke returned with On Earth, and in Heaven, his first studio album in six years. The record produced two Billboard Adult R&B No. 1 singles, “That’s What Love Can Do” and “Look Easy,” marking the first time he achieved multiple chart-topping songs from the same album.
Outside of music, Thicke is also widely recognized as a panelist on FOX’s The Masked Singer.
“We’re eager to welcome Robin Thicke for the very first time,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “His connection with fans is a true testament to the talent and energy he puts into his craft, and we know fairgoers are going to love every minute of this performance.”
The Great New York State Fair runs from August 26 through Labor Day, September 7. Admission includes access to all concerts.
The 2026 Chevrolet Music Series features 41 national recording acts, with daily performances at Chevy Court 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., plus nightly 8 p.m. shows at Suburban Park. Two additional 9 p.m. concerts will also be held at Chevy Court on August 28 and September 4.
