The New York Beef Council (NYBC) is offering financial support for initiatives that promote and market delicious New York beef! Every year, they allocate grant money to fund activities that increase public awareness and appreciation for beef.
This is a fantastic chance for local beef producers and agricultural educators to expand their reach and make a bigger impact.
Proposals are reviewed throughout the year, with grants awarded on an ongoing basis. The NYBC aims to empower local events and programs that showcase the beef industry and connect consumers directly with New York's beef producers.
"Meet Your Farmer" events, county fair beef displays, and educational farm days are just some examples of successful initiatives funded by the program.
These events create opportunities for consumer engagement and education, bringing essential visibility to the industry in areas where NYBC staff may not be readily available.
“Our goal is to empower local beef producers and educators with the resources they need to showcase the quality and value of beef,” said Ashley Scoones, Executive Director of the New York Beef Council. “Through these grants, we aim to strengthen consumer connections with the beef industry and bring impactful, local events to communities across the state.”
Are you a beef producer, educator, or advocate passionate about promoting New York's vibrant beef industry? The NYBC encourages you to apply for their promotional grants this year.
The Board of Directors is eager to support innovative and creative approaches to beef education and promotion across the state.
