Calling all agricultural producers, landowners, and conservation enthusiasts! The USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is hosting a Local Working Group meeting on Monday, July 8th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This public meeting will be held at Land Pro Equipment in Batavia, NY (4540 W. Saile Drive, Batavia, NY 14020).
The NRCS Local Working Group plays a vital role in identifying local agricultural and natural resource concerns. This meeting provides a platform for open discussion and valuable feedback to the NRCS.
Attendees can expect to share their knowledge and experiences with other stakeholders, including farmers, forest landowners, environmental organizations, and government agencies.
The focus of the meeting will be on:
- Identifying key agricultural and natural resource issues facing Genesee, Orleans, and Niagara Counties.
- Providing input and recommendations on NRCS Farm Bill conservation programs.
By working together, the NRCS Local Working Group can develop effective strategies to address local conservation needs and ensure the long-term health and sustainability of our agricultural and natural resources.
