Empire State Development and Cornell University’s Center for Regional Economic Advancement have announced the 20 finalists for the fifth annual Grow-NY Food and Agriculture Business Competition. The competition is funded through New York state’s Upstate Revitalization Initiative and administered by CREA.
The finalists, chosen from a pool of 323 applicants from 49 countries, represent a wide range of innovative businesses that are developing new technologies and products to address challenges in the food and agriculture industry. The finalists will participate in a 10-week accelerator program that includes mentorship, workshops, and pitch training. They will also compete for a total of $3 million in prize money.

The Grow-NY Food and Agriculture Business Competition is designed to support the growth of the food and agriculture industry in upstate New York. The competition helps to attract new businesses to the region, create jobs, and support the development of innovative technologies.
The Grow-NY Food and Ag Summit will be held on November 14-15 at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Binghamton. The summit will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. The finalists will also pitch their business to a panel of judges at the summit.
