Stewart's Shops, Mikey Dubb's Frozen Custard, and Four Fat Fowl Creamery Win Big at 2023 New York Dairy Products Competition
The 2023 New York Dairy Products Competition was held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Great New York State Fair. The competition, which is held annually, recognizes the best dairy products in New York State.
This year, Stewart's Shops took home the top prize for milk, with their chocolate milk and flavored milk also winning gold medals. Mikey Dubb's Frozen Custard won the first-ever ice cream competition for their vanilla ice cream. And Four Fat Fowl Creamery was named Grand Champion for their St. Stephen cheese.
Other winners included HP Hood, which won 14 medals overall, and Great Lakes Cheese, which won eight medals. The competition was judged by a panel of experts, including representatives from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Cornell University, and the dairy industry.
The winners of the 2023 New York Dairy Products Competition will be honored at a special ceremony on Dairy Day at the Great New York State Fair on Thursday, August 31.
