The New York State Soil and Water Conservation Committee announces that it will hold a public meeting on December 16, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The meeting is conducted in compliance with New York’s Open Meetings Law to ensure transparency and public access.
The committee will meet at several locations across the state to allow for broad participation. One location will be the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Albany Office, located on the second floor in the Orchard Room at 10B Airline Drive in Albany. Visitors attending this location are required to check in at the security desk.
Additional in person locations include the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Agriculture Office at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, the Brower Family Farm in East Mayfield, the Monroe County Soil and Water Conservation District office in Rochester, a meeting site at Dolbeer Street in Perry, and Hickling’s Fish Farm Inc in Edmeston.
The meeting will also be accessible online to provide flexible attendance options. Participants may join through the official Webex meeting platform. A call in option is available for those who prefer to listen by phone. Access details, including the meeting link, call in number, and meeting access code, are provided in the official notice.
If applicable, materials intended for discussion during the meeting will be posted online before the meeting. These materials will be available through the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets website on the Soil and Water Conservation Committee information page.
To support public awareness and future reference, a recording of the meeting will be made available after the meeting concludes. The recording will be posted on the same official website where meeting materials are shared.
