Country music fans will have a reason to celebrate as Trace Adkins takes the stage at Suburban Park during the Great New York State Fair. The award-winning artist is scheduled to perform on Saturday, September 5, at 8 p.m., delivering an evening of classic country hits as part of the Fair’s 2026 Chevrolet Music Series.
With a career spanning more than 30 years, Adkins is widely recognized for his rich baritone voice and emotionally driven songwriting. His catalogue includes chart-topping favorites such as “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and the crossover success “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” Over the years, Adkins has placed more than 20 singles on the Billboard country charts, earned numerous industry honors, and built a loyal fan following through powerful live performances.
“Trace Adkins’s commanding voice and authentic presence on stage make every concert a memorable experience,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We’re thrilled to bring his legendary talent to The Fair and look forward to a night of unforgettable country music.”
Beyond music, Adkins has also made his mark in television and film, appearing on shows such as King of the Hill, Hollywood Squares, and The Celebrity Apprentice and All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, where he emerged as the winner.
The Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, August 26, through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. Concerts are included with admission, which costs $8 for adults, while children under 12 and adults 65 and older are admitted free.
In total, the 2026 Chevrolet Music Series features 41 national acts, with daily shows at Chevy Court and nightly performances at Suburban Park.
