The New York Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC) is proud to continue offering scholarship opportunities to support aspiring professionals in the field of agriculture.

For 2026, the NY Animal Agriculture Young Advocates Scholarship will provide up to $2,000 to students pursuing careers in animal agriculture. This program is designed to empower the next generation of agricultural leaders in New York and beyond.

Eligibility for the scholarship includes New York residents enrolled in college for Fall 2026 or non-residents attending a New York State university as a full-time student. Eligible fields of study encompass a wide range of agriculture-related disciplines, including Livestock Management, Dairy Science, Agricultural Education, Agriculture Communications, Agricultural Business, and Animal Science.

Applications must be submitted by February 28, 2026. Winners will be announced in the spring, with funding awarded after completion of the Fall 2026 semester. Recipients must provide an official transcript verifying enrollment and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

The NY Animal Agriculture Young Advocates Scholarship plays a vital role in shaping the future of animal agriculture in New York by encouraging education, community involvement, and collaboration within the industry. It not only supports students in achieving their personal and professional goals but also fosters a greater understanding and appreciation of animal agriculture.

Students passionate about agriculture and committed to making a difference in the industry are encouraged to apply. This scholarship offers a chance to join a network of like-minded advocates dedicated to advancing animal agriculture across the state.
