Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) has announced the appointment of Alexa Maille as the critical issue lead for youth and family extension programming, effective October 1. This two-year role underscores CCE's commitment to addressing key challenges and opportunities for youth and families in the modern era.
In her new position, Maille will strengthen collaboration between campus resources and CCE educators and partners across the state. Her responsibilities include ensuring program needs are met, establishing and evaluating educational metrics, and overseeing statewide initiatives such as needs assessments, evaluation strategies, and Federal Capacity Fund proposal reviews.
In addition to her new role, Maille will continue to serve as the New York State 4-H Youth Development Program Leader at Cornell University's Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research.
Maille’s extensive experience in educational programming and community engagement has significantly contributed to impactful initiatives supporting youth and families.
