GenerationNext seminars to help farm business managers

GenerationNext seminars to help farm business managers

By Blake Jackson

Farmers and entrepreneurs who want to develop their business and financial skills can attend the GenerationNext seminars hosted by Farm Credit East this fall and winter. The seminars cover a wide range of topics, including leadership, management, human resources, finance, production economics, marketing, risk management, farm transfer and estate planning.

The seminars are open to everyone, regardless of their role in the farm business. Whether you are the next generation of leadership, a key employee, or an entrepreneur starting your own business, GenerationNext can help prepare you for success.

Participants will gain valuable insights from Farm Credit East business consultants and from their GenerationNext colleagues. In-person sessions will be held in northern New Jersey, New York, and Vermont starting in November. The virtual program consists of eight weekly two-hour sessions starting in January.

For more information, session dates, or to sign up, visit FarmCreditEast.com/GenerationNext. It is not necessary to have an existing relationship with Farm Credit East to attend. Contact Chris Laughton at Chris.Laughton@farmcrediteast.com or call (800) 562-2235 for more information.
