New York Farm Bureau Strengthens Team with Key Hires to Enhance Member Opportunities

New York Farm Bureau (NYFB) has recently welcomed three new members to its team as part of its commitment to expanding business operations and providing enhanced opportunities for its members. These additions come as a result of a strategic plan aimed at reviewing and developing organizational priorities, along with a reorganization designed to allocate additional resources for effectively carrying out NYFB's mission of advocacy and education in support of the agricultural community.

Eman Badr Wilder joins NYFB as the Director of Insurance Services, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry. In her new role, Eman will lead the evaluation and development of insurance offerings aligned with NYFB's strategic objectives, with a specific focus on expanding the organization's Workers' Compensation Safety Group 486. With a strong dedication to supporting the agricultural needs of the state, Eman aims to grow the insurance options available to NYFB members while providing exceptional customer service.

Laurie Beach assumes the position of Director of Events, a newly created role within NYFB. With her extensive experience in higher education and nonprofit organizations, Laurie will oversee all events for the organization, including the State Annual Convention. Her expertise in organization, planning, and communication will play a crucial role in creating successful networking opportunities for community members and fostering valuable connections.

Thomas Denman has been appointed as the Manager of Membership Development and Engagement. With a background in graphic design and experience in community-based nonprofits and higher education, Thomas will work to ensure NYFB members derive maximum value from their membership. He will collaborate with various divisions to expand the membership base and enhance member engagement at both county and state levels. Thomas's efforts will focus on keeping members informed about NYFB's legislative initiatives and providing exclusive benefits that are available only to Farm Bureau members.

These new team members bring diverse backgrounds and expertise to NYFB, reinforcing the organization's commitment to its members and their evolving needs. By strengthening its workforce, NYFB is better equipped to support farmers, advocate for their interests, and create opportunities that will shape the future of agriculture in New York State.
