The New York Wine & Grape Foundation (NYWGF) has launched its 2025 membership drive, encouraging wineries and grape growers across New York to join or renew.
Membership provides access to a wide range of benefits designed to support growth and success in a competitive market.
“NYWGF membership is designed to provide tangible, high-value resources that directly impact the success of our wineries and growers,” said Jenn Cooper, Membership and Events Manager of NYWGF. “From exclusive discounts and grant access to expert guidance and national marketing initiatives, our goal is to support our members in every aspect of their business.”
Members gain access to several cost-saving benefits, including a $10 discount on entries to the New York Wine Classic, significant savings on industry events like B.E.V. NY and the Eastern Winery Exposition, and complimentary financial and business consulting through the Vine Hotline.
Additionally, members can post free job listings on NYWGF’s new industry job board and receive discounts on Wine Industry Sales Education (WISE) Academy training.
Funding opportunities are another major benefit. Members can apply for NYWGF Mini-Grants, receive a comprehensive guide to available funding resources, and enjoy substantial discounts on wine lab testing services at the Cornell Craft Beverage Analytical Lab. A subsidy is also available for Farm Credit East Winery Benchmarks analysis.
NYWGF provides valuable educational and sustainability resources, including free access to expert-led webinars, exclusive data and trend reports from the Wine Market Council, and sustainability support through the Porto Protocol’s “Unpacking Wine Guide.”
Marketing and promotion are key components of NYWGF membership. Members benefit from strategic domestic marketing programs, a subsidized listing in the Wine Enthusiast Tasting Room Directory, and features in the Press Deck Newsletter. Networking opportunities are also available through annual meetings, roadshows, and industry events.
A new feature for 2025 is the Members-Only Dashboard, a centralized online platform designed to enhance the membership experience.
This tool allows members to easily access benefits, updates, and event information, connect with NYWGF staff, and network with industry professionals.
NYWGF will also host Industry Roadshows across New York State in 2025, visiting regions like Lake Erie, Niagara, Hudson Valley, Long Island, and the Finger Lakes.
These events offer opportunities to meet NYWGF staff, ask questions, and learn about industry support.
Joining or renewing NYWGF membership ensures wineries and vineyards stay connected to essential resources, experts, and marketing initiatives. To join or renew for 2025, visit newyorkwines.org/membership/ or contact Jenn Cooper at jennifercooper@nywgf.org.
