BASF Yield Challenge Delivers Real Farm Results

BASF Yield Challenge Delivers Real Farm Results

By Jamie Martin

BASF Agricultural Solutions successfully completed its 2025 Real Results Yield Challenge, a nationwide program designed to demonstrate how fungicides perform under real farm conditions. The initiative brought together a large network of growers and agricultural retailers to evaluate crop protection products through side-by-side field comparisons.

Participants tested BASF fungicides against untreated plots or competing products to measure yield performance, disease control, and return on investment. The program focused on providing practical, real-world data that farmers can use to make informed crop management decisions.

Across participating farms, growers reported consistent crop performance and measurable yield improvements. BASF fungicides played an important role in protecting crops from disease pressure while helping farmers maximize their yield potential during a challenging agricultural season.

One soybean grower recorded a four bushel per acre yield advantage after using a BASF fungicide, highlighting the value of investing in effective crop protection. As one participant explained, “In today’s challenging agriculture economy, you must maximize your yield, and Revylok brings yield to the table. With the tough commodity pricing we’re facing today, fungicide application is an investment. And Revylok returned on that investment, providing me with real results and extra money in my pocket.”

BASF leaders emphasized that the challenge reflects the company’s commitment to supporting farmers with reliable, performance-driven solutions. By offering hands-on testing opportunities, the program helps growers clearly see how fungicides can protect crops and improve profitability.

The strong outcomes from the 2025 challenge have set the stage for an even larger program in 2026. BASF plans to expand participation, giving more farmers the opportunity to test products and gain confidence in their crop protection strategies.
