Firestone Ag, part of Bridgestone Americas, has officially opened entries for its 2024 Rock the Crop Sweepstakes, designed exclusively for the National FFA Organization chapters. This year marks a special iteration of the sweepstakes, as it coincides with the 80th anniversary of Firestone Ag’s support for the FFA—a relationship that has significantly contributed to agricultural education and youth leadership development.
The 2024 sweepstakes prizes include a private performance by Nashville's Hailey Whitters and a comprehensive educational session with Firestone Ag’s field engineers. This session will delve into the intricacies of tire types, construction, and the selection process, crucial for proper tractor setup and avoiding overloading, which are essential for safe and efficient farm operation.
Firestone Ag’s commitment to the FFA began with Harvey Firestone Jr., who championed the cause of supporting youth in agriculture. Today, that legacy continues with initiatives like the Rock the Crop Sweepstakes, aimed at engaging young people in meaningful agricultural learning and enjoyment.
